This is a 20 minute yoga routine intended to target back pain. This routine actually took me almost an hour because these were surprisingly difficult poses. Particularly the pigeon pose and the low lunge with quad stretch were really hard to find the right positioning. Once I got through all of the poses, I didn’t feel very refreshed but more exhausted and sore. With that being said, I think that the more I repeat this routine, the easier and more beneficial it will become. The cat/cow and the child’s pose were actually recommended by my physiotherapist, so I am already familiar with them and I can confirm that, with repetition, they can really help to relieve back pain. Overall, I probably wouldn’t choose to do this full routine very often, but I do like some parts of it.
